Many people can sing in tune and have a great pitch, but they can't sing with power. The result goes to the lack of dynamics. Their voice also can't be heard clearly by the audience, it will lead for undelivered song's meaning to the audience. For me, singing power is concerned in stamina, breath management, and voice brightness. These steps are training to increase your singing power. Please read the steps below :
- Lie down on a flat surface and breathe deep from the abdomen/diaphragm.This helps you increase your diaphragm pushing power.
- Begin to do the warms-up exercise on that lie-down position, and then sing within your comfortable scale.
- Take a short break and drink a small amount of water that has lemon mixed in. This will keep your throat from becoming raw or irritated during this exercise.
- If you want to do an extreme exercise, you could try sing in the water. Breathe in air and come in to the water, then sing in your comfortable range as loud as you can, but don't scream.
